Sharing a meal. Growing a community.

What is the Supper Project?
The Supper Project is a community-led initiative that brings people together to pack and deliver simple, shelf-stable dinners for local families who could use a little extra support.

Each meal kit is easy to prepare, familiar, and designed to feed a family — things like pasta night, tacos, or breakfast-for-dinner. Meals are distributed directly to students at school, so they can take a full, ready-to-cook dinner home — discreetly, safely, and with dignity.

We believe that sharing a meal is one of the simplest ways to care for one another — and that everyone deserves a seat at the dinner table.

Who are we?

We’re moms, parents, teachers, neighbors, and volunteers — ordinary people working together to make sure no child goes hungry.

We’re not a food bank or a charity that asks families to come to us — we meet families where they are, through the schools and communities they already trust.

We believe in equality, community, and connection. Because when we share a meal, we do more than feed families — we grow a stronger, kinder neighborhood.

We’re building something bigger than a meal program. We’re building community.

Partnerships
We collaborate with local schools and community organizations to distribute our meals to families in need, ensuring our resources are directed effectively to those who require assistance.
Volunteering
Get involved by volunteering your time to help pack and distribute dinner bags. You can also serve as a drop-off point for non-perishable food donations in your community. Your contribution can bring smiles and hope to families.
Donations
We accept non-perishable donations across south Austin to create our meals. We also accept financial donations and grocery gift cards. Your generous contributions allow us to continue to provide meals to the families in our community and expand our reach to additional schools in need.
Support the Supper Project Today!
The Supper Project is a fully volunteer organization. Each meal we put together costs $5. Your donation enables us to keep providing meals, week over week, to the families in our community depending on them.

We appreciate your contribution!
